Courses are offered in small-group intakes, with a focus on real communication and steady progress.
Each group is different, courses adapt
Rather than fixed, one-size-fits-all programmes, each group develops naturally based on the people in it. As the group progresses, the content adapts: topics, situations, and language are shaped around real needs, goals, and everyday use.
Many learners choose to continue after the first intake allowing for consistency, deeper progress, and a natural learning flow.
Clear structure, but not rigid
The structure remains clear and guided, but flexible enough to respond to the group, so learning stays relevant and practical at every stage.

Course Structure
Learn Finnish for real-life communication in small, supportive online groups or tailored private classes.

Courses can be tailored for friends, study groups, colleagues, or learners with shared goals and similar communication needs. This may include real-life situations, workplace communication, industry specific vocabulary, or conversational Finnish for everyday life in Finland.Small private groups can be arranged for 2–8 participants depending on the learning objectives, a course just for you and your acquittances. 🇫🇮 Course A — Finnish Basics (A1/A1+)
Level focus: For learners who already know some basics and want to build on their existing base and to speak more confidently in everyday situations.
This course focuses on practical conversation so you can begin using Finnish more naturally in real-life situations.
Topics include:
- Talking about yourself and daily life
- Free time, hobbies, and interests
- Emotions and feelings
- Simple opinions and preferences
- Describing past experiences
- Talking about neighbourhoods and familiar places
- Talking about near future plans
Can you already?
- Say simple things about yourself (name, where you are from?)
- Understand basic everyday words (some verbs and nouns)

Level focus: For learners who already have a basic foundation and want to move forward with more speaking practice and make full coherent sentences.
This course helps learners develop more confidence speaking about experiences, opinions, and everyday situations.
Topics include:
- Work, studies, and future goals
- Culture and everyday behaviour
- Travelling and experiences
- Giving reasons and explanations
- Expressing opinions politely and clearly
- Handling social situations and casual conversations
- Making plans and going out

- Ask and answer basic questions in conversation

This course focuses on real workplace communication and common professional situations.

- Talking about your role, responsibilities, and work
- Discussing tasks & projects
- Participating in meetings and giving updates
- Asking questions & clarifying information
- Giving opinions at work
- Everyday workplace communication and small talk

- Ask questions and express simple opinions

These private classes are designed around your individual needs, so you can focus on what is most relevant and useful for your life, work, and communication in Finnish.
The lessons focus strongly on practical speaking, so you can begin using Finnish more naturally and confidently in real-life situations from the start.
